WebSep 6, 2012 · CAMSHAFT IDENTIFICATION. As previously posted I bought a 5 bolt 289 sight unseen off Craigs List, To my surprise it has a HIPO K shortblock! I am curious in identifying the hydralic camshaft. The end of the shaft is painted red and the end is stamped FM7 with a C surrounding the M. It looks to have an aggressive squarish lobe.
