The Jeff Gosling controls, whilst functional, destroy the aesthetics of a nice car and the exposed rods make it a complete pain getting in and out. Installing hand controls on a manual vehicle is restrictive as driving with a hand control whilst needing to change gear results in difficult and potentially unsafe operation of all vehicle controls at the same time.
